Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor
Location: Kempston
Salary: £13 - £14.50

Summary of the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Dispatch Supervisor to join our client's team in Kempston. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispatch department, managing a small team, and ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently. The successful candidate will bring strong organisational and problem-solving skills, fostering a culture of success and teamwork within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organise and collate customer orders for dispatch, ensuring deadlines are met.
2. Conduct or supervise final quality checks before dispatch.
3. Oversee packing and palletizing to ensure efficient processes.
4. Maintain the company dispatch schedule with accurate information.
5. Step into administrative roles during staff absences.
6. Promote positive team engagement and hands-on leadership.

Key Requirements:

1. Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
3. Problem-solving mindset with a common-sense approach.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Computer literacy and comfort working to strict deadlines.

Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
