Job description
We are working with our client, a leading CNC and Manual machining company based in Durham, who serves the offshore and renewables industries, in the search for a Materials Controller / Goods In Goods Out on a permanent basis.
Your primary role is to manage the ERP system and organize the goods in/goods out process for the business while continually managing and improving this.
- Raising purchase orders through the ERP system for Goods/Despatch consumables
- Booking goods in/out through the ERP system
- Monitor and report discrepancies and non-compliance
- Packing products ready for shipping
- Arranging couriers and monitoring despatch
- General housekeeping duties
- Driving for deliveries and collections
- Stock control - booking stock in and out of the ERP system
- IT literate and able to work with computer systems
- ERP experience
- Goods in / Goods out experience
- FLT Licence desirable
- Driving license essential
- Training given
