The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire deal cycle from meeting to closing. You’ll have an SDR function who will generate client meetings for you & there's a CS function who takes over once you've landed the deal.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identifying and targeting potential clients within the education sector.
- Client Interaction: Conducting 60% of customer interactions online and 40% face-to-face (events etc.)
- Pitching & Closing: Delivering compelling pitches and closing deals.
Requirements
- Experience: Sales experience from the Apprenticeship or FE Sector with a desire to move into Tech sales.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, a hunter mentality, and the ability to map, target, and close customers.
Salary & Benefits
- Uncapped Bonus: Potential to earn £20,000 - £40,000 year 1.
