Maintenance Engineer - Nights

Who we are looking for:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings, and building systems. Your duties will include responding to reports of broken or faulty items, conducting routine inspections of buildings, and liaising with external specialists and contractors.

What you’ll do:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment.
  3. Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  4. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
  5. Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
  7. Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.

What you bring:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
  2. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
  4. Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems.
  5. Welding experience is an advantage.
  6. Ability to supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
  7. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  8. Strong attention to detail.
  9. Customer service-oriented mindset.
  10. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week working Sunday to Wednesday 10pm – 6am and Thursday 10pm – 5am.

Pay: £21.87ph (17.50ph plus 25% shift allowance).
