We are currently looking for a Backend Software Developer to take our monitoring software to the next level. You will be part of a 7-person cross-functional team focused on our software for large and enterprise customers. For this role, it is important that you have a modern technology stack and enjoy learning new technologies and integrating them into our products. YOUR TASKS

• You will work in an agile team within the product development for Paessler PRTG.
• You and a small, effective team will focus on the needs of our enterprise customers and work on continuous product improvements.
• You will plan, develop and modernise software features together with your team.
• You will contribute your own ideas and participate in discussions, planning and their implementation together with the product owner.
• As a team, you take responsibility for architecture and code quality.
• You support the team with knowledge transfer, code reviews and testing of new features.
• You assist our technical support in 3rd-level cases.
• You and the team work together to ensure a high level of quality and stability of the system.

YOUR PROFILE

• You are very familiar with modern programming languages – ideally Delphi.
• You are keen to learn about Rust, database development and the integration of a messaging system, and also to further develop your skills in Delphi.
• You are willing to learn about how our network monitoring software works.
• You are very familiar with the development of software architectures, the implementation of clean code principles and the application of design patterns.
• You are familiar with Git or similar and are interested in a modern CI infrastructure with Gitlab and Jira.
• You have an agile mindset.
• You communicate very well in English.
