A leading National Construction & Property Consultancy is looking for a talented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Southampton team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to take the lead on high-profile projects across multiple sectors, with clear career training, development & progression opportunities.
The incoming Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be part of a dynamic & collaborative team of 30 individuals in their newly refurbished office, creating a vibrant, modern and professional environment. You will work closely with senior team members supporting the delivery of a variety of projects, sectors, clients, and significant projects with values ranging from £1m to £50m.
You’ll work on a variety of key schemes across education, residential, and local government, while also contributing to sectors such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, and student accommodation.
This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor eager for substantial industry exposure across a variety of sectors. This, alongside the firm's renowned internal APC programme, is the ideal place for someone looking to pursue their RICS chartership.
The ideal Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be a motivated and client-focused professional. You should have:
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Consultancy
- A RICS Accredited degree qualification, ideally Quantity Surveying BSc or MSc
- Eager to complete APC
- Basic pre and post contract experience
- A valid UK driving license
The company is happy to discuss individual requirements based on experience but is looking to offer:
- £30,000 – £40,000
