We are hiring for a kind, patient, friendly and caring Receptionist to join our amazing existing front of house team. The role includes reception duties plus a lot more including use of email, computers and lots of communication with the team and our clients. Full training will be given.
This is a part-time permanent role working 18 hours a week. The shifts will include Tuesdays 1pm to 7pm, Wednesdays 1pm to 7pm, Fridays 3 x 1pm to 7pm and 1 x 8am to 2pm per month. There will be a requirement to work 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:30 to 1pm.
As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team that looks after one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment.

Ark House Vets is a single-site practice in the lovely Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire border town of Leighton Buzzard. We are situated within a lovely market town with excellent transport links to London and beyond. You will join our fantastic team of hard-working people, including 6 Vets, 9 Veterinary Nurses and 5 receptionists plus support staff.
