Job description

Community Safety Officer needed in North London Paying £18.73 per hr ref 012466

Full time hours on a temporary basis

  1. Manage technical equipment and interpret results.
  2. Provide up-to-date technical advice to residents, businesses, Members, and stakeholders.
  3. Issue legal documents, notices, and formal cautions as required.
  4. Stay informed on anti-social behaviour legislation and policy developments.
  5. Conduct investigations, prepare prosecutions, and attend court proceedings.
  6. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and legislation (e.g., PACE, CPIA, RIPA).
  7. Build relationships with stakeholders and promote best practices.
  8. Advise managers and senior officers on relevant legislation.
  9. Exercise professional judgement in legal cases to protect the community.
  10. Lead publicity campaigns, customer service improvements, and joint initiatives.
  11. Investigate service requests and complaints, taking enforcement actions as needed.
  12. Assess risks and impacts on individuals and the community, taking mitigating actions.
  13. Contribute to the development of anti-social behaviour strategies and policies.
