Database Engineer

JCA Associates are working with one of the UKs fastest growing Law Firms based in Surrey, England and they are looking to hire an experienced Database Developer to join the Data, AI and Engineering function of their team. As a Database Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure databases that support business operations and legal systems.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications/experience:

• Proven experience in Database Development
• Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (on-prem) and Azure SQL databases.
• Performing Tuning and Query optimization tasks
• Be familiar with security best practices, encryption and compliance requirements in data management
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Storage.

Nice to haves:

• Previously worked in Legal Services industry or similar
• Previous experience of data warehousing and ETL processes
• PowerShell or similar tools for database management tasks

Please note that this role will require you to be onsite in Guildford, Surrey.
