An established local authority is seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join their Welfare Support Service. This role is pivotal in assisting residents with accessing essential support services, managing administrative tasks, and representing the service at community events. Administration Assistant (Welfare Support Service)
Grade 3, £24,404 up to £25,584 per annum pro rata
25 hours per week, working pattern negotiable, 6-month fixed term contract with potential to extend subject to external funding
We are looking for a self-motivated individual that will support the Welfare Support Service by carrying out administration duties for the team and attending community events to promote the service.

The post holder will be attending events with both public and professionals, so must be an excellent communicator that can represent the Welfare Support Service.
The role will be office-based during the initial training period, and then hybrid working will be available. The contractual base will be office-based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations in the borough.
