Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Commercial Property Lawyer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior lawyer to gain valuable experience in commercial property transactions and develop their legal career.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting senior lawyers with commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
2. Conducting legal research and preparing reports.
3. Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
4. Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
5. Supporting the team in due diligence and property portfolio management.
6. Attending meetings and taking notes.
7. Acting as a trusted legal advisor to clients across both councils, ensuring clear, solution-focused legal guidance.
8. Managing an existing caseload and taking on new complex commercial property legal work.
9. Drafting and reviewing legal implications, decision-making reports, leases, licenses, and other property-related documents.
10. Working collaboratively within the wider legal service, supporting colleagues on cross-disciplinary cases.
11. Ensuring compliance with internal processes, including decision-making frameworks, instructions to external legal counsel, financial procedures, and case management systems.
