SEND Art Teacher / Special Needs Art Teacher in Sandwell
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive Art Teacher? Do you have a good understanding of the national curriculum? Are you able to deliver engaging lessons to secondary age students with autism, severe learning difficulties, and complex needs?
An Art Teacher is required for short term supply cover in an outstanding SEND school in Sandwell for an immediate start. The role will be delivering an engaging curriculum and requires a versatile Teacher who is creative and caring in their approach. The school has a team of dedicated teaching assistants who provide fantastic support to the children.
The role is currently for 3 days a week. The students are vulnerable and need that little bit extra support to develop socially as well as academically. The successful Teacher will have excellent communication skills and be able to use basic MAKATON and PECS.
