£40,000 – £44,000 per annum plus £4,000 shift allowance

Our client is a well-established UK commercial building services organisation, with a requirement for an electrically biased shift engineer to work on a high-profile commercial M&E maintenance contract. Working as part of a multi-skilled team covering planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and HVAC systems, the shift pattern is 4 on (2 days and 2 nights) 4 off.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Data Centre / Critical site engineering & property maintenance; however, our client is also keen to hear from electricians from a building services background that want to get into the data centre industry and will provide training for the right candidate. Good knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Plant such as LV/HV Switchboards, PDU’s, UPS, Chillers, AHU’s, Generators, Pumps & BMS is essential. Ideally, you will have relevant HV/LV qualifications or the experience to become an AP. Must be able to work independently when required (particularly on night shifts).
On offer is a permanent position paying between £44,000 - £48,000 per annum including shift allowance. The role includes 20 shifts of annual leave each year (book 4 days off and be off for 12). Guaranteed 20 days overtime each year, plus access to industry-leading training and development.
