JOB TITLE: Cover Cleaner

LOCATION: Events Venue, EH2 2LR

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 over 7

WORKING HOURS: 0 hours

PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

Cleaning office and events venue premises for prestigious Client, including washrooms, kitchens, venue hall, and any surrounding areas.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Hoovering/mopping, cleaning washrooms and kitchens.
2. Carrying out deep cleans as required and using buffers and carpet cleaners – training provided.
3. Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly.
4. Removing waste, replenishing consumables and supplies, and attending to reactive jobs (spillages).
5. Customer Service while working alongside Client and Client’s staff.

Person Specification:

1. Must be well presented and a good communicator.
2. Must have a can-do attitude and polite and approachable demeanor.
3. Hardworking and proactive with good timekeeping and attendance record.

Essential:

1. Previous cleaning experience preferred with a focus on unsupervised work and prioritizing workload.
2. Strong customer service/care and leadership skills.
3. Problem-solving and time management skills desired.
4. Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative.
5. Flexible and proactive attitude essential.
6. Understanding & knowledge of health and safety policies.
7. Needs to represent ABM values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times; willing to go the extra mile.
