Job Responsibilities
  • The 1:1 English and Maths Tutor will be responsible for providing personalised tutoring to students in English and Maths subjects. Duties include assessing students' learning needs, developing tailored lesson plans, delivering engaging and interactive lessons, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Minimum Requirements
  • - A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • - Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum
  • - Experience in delivering 1:1 tutoring
  • - A Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field
  • - Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English and Maths
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • - Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
  • - Additional certifications in Special Education or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)
  • - Experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities
