Shifts: Rotational shifts (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm)

Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,770.25 per annum (Plus shift allowance on afternoons)

Are you an Electrical Maintenance Technician looking to join a world-leading engineering business at their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry? We are ideally looking for those with experience in machine maintenance.

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
2. Review electrical drawings and perform fault finding.
3. Work on preventative maintenance and update older machines.
4. Engage with the team on the shop floor to ensure seamless operations.
5. Perform repairs and maintenance on various machines, plant, and equipment.
6. Prioritise safety for operators and maintenance personnel.
7. Conduct planned and preventive maintenance.
8. Install and refurbish plant equipment to facilitate continuous improvement of company assets.
9. Reduce downtime by monitoring and refining first-line and preventive maintenance schedules.
10. Collaborate with operators and team leaders to maintain efficiency.

Who is our ideal Electrical Maintenance Technician?

1. NVQ Level 3 in maintenance/manufacturing or equivalent.
2. Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background with an electrical bias.
3. Machine and machine tool experience, ideally with Mazak equipment.
4. Ability to read machine drawings and manuals (mechanical and electrical).
5. Familiarity with preventive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
