Remote Working - Join a full-service events agency where you will manage your own portfolio of pharma/healthcare events with a great team culture and flexible working.

THE COMPANY

This growing events agency offers services including full events management for a high-profile pharmaceutical client base. A chance to work for a well-established agency that has won a host of awards, with a focus on delivering sustainable events on a global scale and a fantastic reputation.

With a truly diverse portfolio, they manage and deliver projects including conferences, investigator meetings, gala dinners, product launches, and congress for an impressive client base predominately within the pharmaceutical sector. Working on smaller projects through to large-scale and complex events across the world, they are now looking for a Senior Project Manager or Project Director to join their dynamic team.

You will be given the chance to work within a supportive environment as part of a close-knit, friendly, and sociable team!

The role will be predominantly remote-based with expectations to be in the offices once bimonthly in Berkshire/London for company updates and socials.

THE ROLE

Due to continued success, this thriving events agency is now looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Director to join their talented team. You will be responsible for managing key client relationships and will take ownership of events from brief through to delivery.

This is a fast-paced agency where you will work across a wide range of events on an international basis; therefore, the role will require you to travel circa 4-6 times per year for 3-7 days at a time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Building and developing relationships with clients and stakeholders
  2. Holding full responsibility for events from brief through to on-site management
  3. Taking briefs directly from clients to understand their needs
  4. Putting together proposals
  5. Supporting on pitch presentations
  6. Collaborating with internal creative and production teams
  7. Liaising with external suppliers
  8. Sourcing venues (UK and overseas)
  9. Managing delegate registration and liaison
  10. Web/app management via Cvent
  11. Booking travel, accommodation, and other event logistics
  12. Managing and reporting on budgets
  13. Delegating tasks and mentoring junior team members
  14. Managing events on-site (internationally)

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with experience delivering events from brief through to delivery for pharmaceutical clients. Agency experience would be beneficial; however, we will consider candidates with corporate and association backgrounds. Experience in delegate management software is a must; ideally Cvent.
