This advert is for two Support Workers based at St Huberts, Lancashire.
The salary for this position is £9518.00 (Pro Rata Amount)

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, challenge perceptions and build a society that works for autistic people.
We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation, whether as tenants or owner occupiers, living alone, or with others.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for Support Workers with the passion, commitment and enthusiasm to work with several people living in their own flats within a supported living service.
The individuals frequently access the local community participating in a wide range of interests which include volunteer work, visiting the supermarket, days out, concerts, accessing the local amenities and bus journeys.
Ideally you will have a background in supporting autistic people but if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will be diverse, rewarding and help two people achieve a quality life.
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working.
The role includes:
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is preferred/essential.

St Huberts, Great Harwood, Lancashire
St Huberts is a specialist supported living service for autistic adults who have additional learning disabilities or other complex needs. The service is for six people with each person in their own self-contained flat.

To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
