£23,555.29 pro-rata per annum (as of 1st April 2025)

Part-time, 21 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

BID Services are recruiting for a Supporting Community Development Worker. This is a key role within the Yardley Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) led by Disability Resource Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team to identify and map groups and organisations
  • Keeping them informed with Yardley NNS information, advice and opportunities
  • Assist the team to deliver regular steering groups and provide crucial administrative support.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience of working with volunteers or community assets
  • Working with disabled people and/or people over the age of 50
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Administrative and IT skills
  • The ability to use their initiative and be proactive
