Role: The Audit Manager provides an independent view and assurance over the control environment within various business entities in the EMEA Region. The role involves conducting and managing audits, supporting audit teams, and contributing to the audit opinion for regional management and the Group Audit Committee.
FinCrime experience and knowledge in Suspicious Transaction Monitoring and Regulatory Reporting is needed, alongside good IT/Tech knowledge. The overall split of the role is 70/30 to FinCrime/IT, as there is dedicated IT resource to collaborate with.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution: Prepare planning materials, direct testing, and manage the fieldwork and reporting of audit assignments.
Team Leadership and Oversight: Lead the team through audits, actively participating in the work alongside team members. Oversee and guide team members, providing coaching and support as necessary.
Risk Assessment: Identify key risk areas and assess the effectiveness of established and new controls.
Reporting: Draft and finalize Audit Control Recommendations and internal audit reports, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Follow-Up: Validate action taken by management for the closure of audit recommendations and provide guidance as needed.
Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with senior management and provide insights into business activities and key risk areas.
Department Initiatives: Contribute to audit department initiatives and collaborate across the EMEA region.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Education & Certification: Degree-level education and a professional qualification (e.g., CIA, ACCA).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with senior management.
Technical Expertise: Operational knowledge of Trading and Capital Markets activities, bank products, and local regulations.
Attention to Detail: Ensure factual accuracy and proper interpretation of audit findings.
Problem-Solving: Advise on control solutions and balance competing demands.
Experience: Demonstrated track record in internal audit delivery and management.

Contract Length: Until 31st March 2025, with possible extension
