For one of our clients, we are looking for a Platform DevOps Engineer, working remotely from Poland and the United Kingdom.

As a Platform DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and optimizing production and development environments that support a growing SaaS platform. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will drive automation, scalability, and infrastructure improvements to ensure high availability and seamless integration. This role requires expertise in cloud-native technologies, CI/CD automation, and observability tools to maintain and enhance platform reliability. You will be part of a collaborative, remote-first environment, where innovation and continuous improvement are at the core of operations.

Accountabilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support production and development environments.
2. Automate deployment processes, improve system performance, and ensure high availability across global operations.
3. Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to enhance system reliability and streamline workflows.
4. Manage the full DevOps lifecycle, from concept to deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
5. Utilize cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker, to deploy and maintain fault-tolerant systems.
6. Improve CI/CD pipelines to drive automation and efficiency using tools like Azure DevOps.
7. Stay updated on modern technologies, advocating for their adoption when beneficial.

Requirements

1. Strong experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure expertise.
2. Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
3. Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, such as container orchestration and service meshes.
4. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Azure ARM, and Bicep.
5. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline automation and version control tools like Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
6. Experience working with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus).
7. Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
