Job Title: Engineer- Electrical Engineering (Power)
Salary: up to GBP38,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Location: Barrow in Furness
We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as an Engineer- Electrical Engineering (Power). The role will be based in Barrow in Furness and offers the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. Individual circumstances can be discussed.
As an Engineer within the electrical team, you will be responsible for supporting the build, test and commissioning, and in service safety of Royal Navy operational vessels. To do this, the team dynamically resolves engineering issues throughout the build, utilising expertise to advise internal and external stakeholders across various functions on the most effective way ahead. The team also specifies equipment requirements within the Electrical Power System and manages the technical delivery from staged design reviews through to design completion, working closely with external suppliers to meet the standards of engineering excellence required to provide the Royal Navy.
