• Manage and prioritize work orders, assigning repairs to the appropriate technicians.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance services according to customer expectations and company standards.
• Coordinate with service advisors to provide accurate repair timelines for updating customers.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing repairs, ensuring that technicians follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Supervise and support the shop team, providing guidance, training, and addressing any performance issues with the management team.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work orders, parts orders, and technician time cards.
• Collaborate with parts department to ensure availability of necessary materials and supplies.
• Review quality of completed work and address any customer concerns or complaints.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive service operations or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize workloads.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, service procedures, and diagnostic tools.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with shop management software.
• Valid driver's license.
