UX Researcher

I am looking for a Contract UX Researcher to join a global digital transformation and technology consultancy. You’ll guide user-centred design for a complex, dynamic digital product that serves a diverse global user base.

Day rate: £450 Outside IR35

Location: UK with potential travel to Spain

Start Date: December (3 months)

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end UX research to shape user needs, inform design, and enhance the product experience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align research with product objectives
• Analyse and synthesise research findings, translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Conduct usability testing and stakeholder interviews, refining solutions based on findings
• Some potential travel to engage directly with European stakeholders

Experience Required:

• 3+ years in UX research within complex digital environments, ideally in government or public sector projects
• Proven experience with user-centred design methodologies and strong understanding of UX best practices
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or similar to conduct effective research
• Comfortable working in agile or collaborative project environments
