Senior Development Chemist - Personal Care Manufacturing

About the Role:

We're hiring on behalf of our client, a leading personal care manufacturer, who is looking for a creative and experienced Senior Development Chemist to join their technical team. You'll lead the development of innovative formulations from concept to production, collaborating with customers to bring their ideas to life.

What You'll Do:

1. Develop and refine product formulations to meet customer briefs
2. Collaborate with clients on project progress and product expectations
3. Source and incorporate new raw materials
4. Ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards
5. Prepare samples for customer evaluation and testing
6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

What We're Looking For:

1. Strong technical and regulatory knowledge
2. Experience in personal care product development (suncare experience a plus)
3. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
4. Strong planning and organisational abilities
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office
