Job description
We are looking for a WiFi Field Engineer to handle project installations, site surveys, and break-fix support for wireless networks. You will work with various network equipment and ensure seamless connectivity for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and create detailed documentation
- Configure and install wireless controllers, switches, access points, and routers (Ruckus, Cisco, Meraki, etc.)
- Manage stock and site surveys, creating bills of materials
- Handle LAN adoption tasks, reconfiguring existing WiFi setups
- Oversee small outdoor installations and liaise with contractors
- Review RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) regularly
About You:
- Strong knowledge of wired & wireless network architecture
- Experience with WiFi technologies and installations
- Familiarity with Ekahau and AirMagnet site surveys
- Understanding of the OSI model
