Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Relief Security Officer, you’ll be involved in a variety of security duties to ensure the safety and security of the site, including:

Internal & External Patrols: Conduct thorough patrols both day and night, regardless of weather conditions, to maintain a visible security presence.
Access Control: Manage site access, including vehicle barriers, reception stations, and visitor identification checks.
Site Security: Ensure the security and integrity of the site perimeter and buildings through physical patrols and vehicle checks.
Emergency Response: Support emergency procedures, including musters, evacuations, and assisting with other roles during incidents.
Vehicle Searches: Carry out vehicle searches as required to maintain high levels of security.
Incident Reporting: Accurately record incidents and complete necessary reports in a clear and legible manner.
Visitor Management: Register contractors, issue temporary badges, book in/out vehicles, and direct visitors around the site.
Control Room Operation: Manage control room, gatehouse, and reception systems, as needed.

Essential Skills

Valid SIA licence (desirable)
Resident in the UK for at least 5 years (for BPSS / SC purposes)
Full UK driving licence
First Aid at Work
Right to work in the UK with a 5-year education or employment check able history
Reliable, punctual and well presented at all times.
Customer focused, polite, tactful and discrete.
Health and Safety at Work (desirable)
Customer Service Training (desirable)
CCTV SIA (desirable)
