Job description

Due to their successful growth, Contract Scotland are working closely with a busy specialist sub-contractor based in Glasgow to source a Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects with a diverse range of clients across the public and private sectors.


This role offers genuine opportunity for career development and is a great chance for an experienced professional to play a key role within the senior management team.


Key duties:
  1. Preparing and submitting tenders, estimates, and proposals.
  2. Negotiating and managing contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  3. Providing commercial guidance and support to project teams.
  4. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
  5. Monitoring project budgets and financial performance.

To be considered for this role, you will have a commercial background within the construction industry, demonstrable Quantity Surveying experience, working knowledge of construction contracts and procurement, and experience managing and supporting multiple projects.
