The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Deputy Head of English to join our dynamic academic team who will make a substantial contribution to the further development of this “GOOD” school. The Deputy Head of English will play a key role in providing strategic leadership and direction within the English department, supporting the Head of English in achieving departmental goals and objectives with a particular focus on Key Stage 3. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, possess a deep understanding of English curriculum and pedagogy, and exhibit a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.

As the Deputy Head of English, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the English faculty's vision, curriculum development, and overall success – in particular the contribution to the design, review and assessment of the Key Stage 3 Curriculum.
