Account Handler

Due to expansion, an exciting position has become available for a Commercial Account Handler to join our professional team.

The key aspects of this role will entail:

1. Dealing with MTA’s / Adjustments / Declarations etc.
2. Negotiating renewal terms for our existing clients.
3. Liaising with insurers and underwriters to secure the best terms possible for both new and existing clients.
4. Broking both new business cases and renewals, whilst working closely with Account Executives throughout the process.
5. Processing payments / DD’s / Premium Finance for both new and existing clients.
6. Dealing directly with clients via phone / email on a daily basis in a professional manner.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3 years experience in commercial account handling is essential.
2. Demonstrated understanding of general insurance products such as Liability, Fleet, Engineering, and Commercial Combined.
3. At least 12 months experience using the Acturis system.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. High levels of customer care and service, providing quality advice.
6. Awareness of FCA and other regulations.
7. Ability to work closely and flexibly with other team members.
8. Demonstrated high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment.
