Investment Analyst – Private Equity Firm

An up and coming UK based Investment firm are looking to add anInvestment Analystto their Belfast based team. They are winning new work across the UK & Ireland and will be deploying new funds into NI based SME’s. They are looking someone from a qualified finance background with an aptitude for corporate finance and investments to join their Belfast team.

There isn’t many opportunities like this in NI and it’ll give you a great stepping stone into the corporate finance/ private equity world as you will be involved in a lot of financial analysis and financial modelling to support M&A work.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Belfast.

The Role:

• Financial modelling and company valuations
• Due diligence finance work
• Forecasting of company finances and assets
• Risk valuations
• Deal planning and strategy

The Person:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Experience with TS, corporate finance, modelling, DD, or valuations is desirable
• Advanced Excel user and experienced at financial modelling
• Excellent communication skills
