We are currently seeking a Lead MEP Commissioning Manager to join our team on an exciting data centre project in West London.

What Will the Role Involve?

As lead commissioning manager, you will oversee commissioning activities for a major data centre project. You'll lead the MEP team, ensuring that all systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing) are rigorously tested, calibrated, and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the MEP commissioning team and develop comprehensive commissioning plans.
  • Oversee testing, calibration, and integration of MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and building codes.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and provide regular progress reports to management.
Skills & Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in MEP commissioning, preferably within data centre projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • CSA CM2 certification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable success in commissioning management, particularly in data centre facilities.
  • Experience in developing and managing commissioning work schedules.
  • Significant experience managing budgets ranging from £0.5m to £5m.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and commissioning processes.
