Job Description

Glasgow City Council are currently looking for a Project Officer Graduate to join the Chief Executives Department within our Procurement team. The role involves supporting the delivery of the Corporate Procurement Unit (CPU) Business As Usual (BAU) workplan and relevant special projects (e.g. Model for Climate Investment). The graduate should understand supply chain management, procurement and have sound numerical and communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Have a degree qualification which has been awarded, not pending.
  2. Live in the Glasgow City Council Boundary, meaning that the Council Tax for your home address would be paid to Glasgow City Council.
  3. Be unemployed, under-employed meaning that you’re working in a role which isn’t at the level of your formal qualifications or facing a redundancy situation.

During the recruitment process you’ll be asked to provide evidence that you meet the criteria above.

This post is temporary for a period up to 24 months.
