Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join a family run business that specialise in supplying High End Bedroom Furniture.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making deliveries across the High Wycombe and surrounding areas, while ensuring excellent customer service.

This role includes a variety of both driving and warehouse duties. Initially working 40 - 50 hours per week.

This is a temp 2 permanent role and the candidate will be rewarded with a permanent contract after a successful completion of 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the van to deliver goods to various locations as per the schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock

Skills

• Proven experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and clients effectively.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
