We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven sustainability professional who is looking for a challenging and varied role in supporting the delivery of the University's ambitious Leadership in Sustainability Strategy (2022-2026). This is an exciting opportunity to be based in a high-performing and highly motivated team that is integral in improving the University's sustainability performance.
About the role:Located in the sustainability team, you will support the Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sustainability in the delivery of key projects and programmes which contribute towards key themes of the Leadership in Sustainability Strategy including Academic Innovation and Impact and Engagement and Partnerships.
The main responsibilities of the Sustainability Project Officer will include:
You will be a passionate and driven professional with a career and/or educational background in sustainability, with a focus on sustainability academic innovation and impact within the Higher Education sector. You will have experience in managing and delivering a varied workload, delivering projects from inception to completion, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective partnerships, and experience of liaising with senior colleagues and groups to inform decision-making and good practice at the University.
