Job Title: Infrastructure / IT Security Specialist – Enterprise Client (Major O365 and Security Projects on a Global Scale)
Salary: Up to £65,000
Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Work Hours: 37.5 hours
Education Requirements: None, but degree preferred or commercial exposure

Responsibilities:
- Support and monitor existing infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance work, backup, and perform other regular support activities.
- Plan, manage, and implement infrastructure projects and upgrades to meet company objectives.
- Respond to 2nd / 3rd line Help Desk calls and manage such items through to resolution or escalate them.
- Ensure the security of data and IT systems and educate staff on good and secure working practices.
- Liaise with external suppliers and support agencies for ongoing support and maintenance.
- Assist in designing and documenting infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards.
- Keep users up to date with progress and liaise with staff in an appropriate manner.
- Establish working guidelines and document processes for the design and management of networked applications.
- Assist in office moves and changes and provision new systems.
- Duties will vary and be revised due to the nature of the IT environment.
Core Technical Experience:
- All-round IT infrastructure specialist with at least 3 years hands-on experience.
- Excellent IP network skills including managing switches, wireless networks, routing protocols, and VoIP.
- Demonstrable experience of SQL Server or SharePoint, server set-up including Windows Server 2008 & 2012.
- Experience of management of core IT applications such as email, anti-virus, systems management, software deployment.
- Good knowledge of IT security with strong experience working with firewalls and exposure to IDS and IPS.
IT Security:
- Develop and enhance security policies, processes, procedures, and technical controls.
- Participate in the design and implementation of systems and applications to ensure compliance with IT Security policies.
- Assist with security incident management and response activities.
- Provide analysis of information security risk and issues of non-compliance.
