Working hours:
Monday - Friday (start time between 6am - 8am until 3pm - 5pm) and Alternative Saturday Mornings (8am - 1pm)

The Role of a Class 2 Driver in our Reading CDC

1. You will work as part of the delivery and collection service, demonstrating exceptional customer service in all aspects of the working day.
2. Using the company's smartphone, you will maintain an accurate record of deliveries and collections and carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks.
3. You will be expected to drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely, abiding by all traffic laws and the highway code.
4. Represent the company and its values and be professional, help with loading and unloading, and any other tasks.

What do you need to succeed as a Class 2 Driver?

1. A valid 7.5t license (Category C1) and a valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
2. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve complex customer inquiries.
3. Knowledge of safe loading as well as the transporting of hazardous goods.
4. Demonstrate compliance with manual handling regulations.
