Your mission is to detect and interpret regulatory changes before they arise, taking decisive action to ensure our operations remain flawless and compliant.

Your challenges and mission

  1. Stay ahead of regulatory changes at the international, EU, and national levels where Deriv Group operates or plans to expand. Deep dive into new regulatory requirements, with a focus on investment services regulation. Your insights will guide our compliance framework, ensuring it remains robust and adaptive.
  2. Develop, update, and enforce compliance-related policies. Conduct thorough internal compliance reviews and legislative gap analyses to keep Deriv ahead of the curve.
  3. Execute comprehensive compliance monitoring programs with precision ensuring every aspect of our operations aligns with regulatory standards.
  4. Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements. Facilitate internal and external audits, providing assurance and transparency.
  5. Craft detailed management presentations and communications on regulatory developments and potential challenges. Keep our management and business areas informed and prepared for any regulatory shifts.
  6. Prepare and submit essential regulatory reports, focusing on CRS, FATCA, MiFIR, and EMIR. Your diligence ensures our reporting is always accurate and timely.
  7. Collaborate on reviewing and assessing compliance business risk assessments. Your expertise will identify and mitigate risks, safeguarding Deriv's operations.
  8. Handle general administrative duties and any additional responsibilities related to the role. Your flexibility and thoroughness ensure no detail is overlooked.

Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit, or risk function
  2. Undergraduate degree in legal, compliance, or related fields
  3. Knowledge of investment services regulations
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work with all levels of personnel with a high degree of integrity and maturity
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  6. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
