About the role:

The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency bringing to life the creative needs of some of the most recognisable brands in the beauty industry including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle and Boots own brand. We combine the capability of an external creative and production team, with the speed, flexibility, and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house set-up, underpinned by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company.

We're looking for a Midweight Copywriter to join our internal creative team. Our ideal candidate will have a flair for language, a deep understanding of brand voice, and the ability to help create compelling campaign ideas to run across multiple platforms. This position requires someone who is imaginative, with the skill to translate marketing objectives into big ideas and supporting copy content.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop creative copy for a variety of marketing channels, including digital ads, print media, social media, email campaigns, and more.
2. Collaborate with art directors, graphic designers, and marketing strategists to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
3. Understand client briefs and marketing goals to tailor content that aligns with brand identity and objectives.
4. Edit and proofread content to ensure high editorial standards and consistency in tone, voice, and style.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to create relevant and fresh copy.
6. Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team or clients when necessary and participate in feedback sessions.
7. Be agile in supporting other copywriters in busy periods as needed.

What you’ll need to have:

1. Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a copywriter in an advertising, editorial or marketing setting (agency or in-house) with a portfolio of work.
3. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
4. A keen eye for detail and strong research capabilities.
5. Ability to change writing style to different audiences and platforms.
6. Creativity and an ability to think in ways that unlock the unexpected.

It would be great if you also have:

1. Experience in the beauty or similar industry.
2. Experience working in an agency or brand that requires juggling multiple briefs and clients.
3. Experience of pitching campaign ideas.
4. An outside-of-work creative hobby or venture.
