Head Of Planning

I'm looking for a Head of Planning to join a rapidly growing and well-recognized food business based in central London.
As the Head of Planning, you'll be responsible for refining and leading a robust S&OP process as well as leading a team of planners. You'll be responsible for implementing best practices across the planning function.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and develop the supply planning team members.
2. Ensure inventory, service, and waste are within targets.
3. Drive the accurate and timely completion of month-end stock reconciliation & stock valuation.
4. Lead and develop S&OP to provide excellent cross-functional communication & information sharing.
5. Work cross-functionally with other senior stakeholders to ensure supply chain efficiency is maintained or improved on all new product launches.
6. Analyse supplier performance around capacity and develop strong working relationships with key suppliers to work on improvements where needed.
7. Anticipate team workload challenges as different suppliers & categories grow.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and develop.
2. Experience in a Supply Planning Management role from an FMCG business.
3. Able to build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships of varying seniority/size.
4. Analytical with strong Microsoft Excel knowledge; Power BI is a bonus!
5. A continuous improvement mentality.
6. A problem-solving attitude.
7. Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and deadlines.

This is a hybrid role where you'll be expected to be in the office 3 days a week and 2 days from home.

The salary banding for this role is £65,000 - £75,000 + bonus and benefits.
