Under the leadership of Andrea Hartley, the salon has grown to become one of the most successful hair salons in Basingstoke. From our humble beginnings in Chineham, we have successfully established ourselves to be one of the fastest growing salons in the area with plans to expand in 2026.

Role Description

This is an on-site role located in Basingstoke for a Hairstylist at Hair Art by Andrea. The Hairstylist will be responsible for providing hairstyling and haircutting services, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of their workspace. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients on haircare needs, executing various haircuts, colouring and styling techniques, and recommending hair care products. The Hairstylist will also need to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in haircare. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while mentoring junior stylists and contributing to a positive salon environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years salon experience
• Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including barbering and advanced colouring methods.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in mentoring or training staff members is advantageous.
• Ability to upsell products and services confidently.
• Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon environment is preferred.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage multiple clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: dependent on experience

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
