Job description

Delivery of first-class statistical analysis for casualty and financial lines classes.

  • Location: London
  • Type: Permanent

Key Duties (including but not limited to):

  • First-class statistical analysis including: individual risks analysis, new portfolio/facility appraisal, rating model development and analysis of parameters, portfolio analysis and performance segmentation and utilisation of third party vendor models (e.g., cyber).
  • Bespoke portfolio segmentation and insights using the Syndicate data warehouse and other data sources. This may include non-actuarial information such as conversion rates, broker penetration, etc.
  • Likely qualified UK Actuary or equivalent.
  • Likely 5+ years of industry experience in relevant markets (Lloyd’s) and lines of business (preferably casualty, financial lines, and cyber).
  • Statistical pricing experience.
  • Strong business instinct in order to be effective in a frontline underwriting function.
