To support this passion for innovation and crafting the future, our client is wishing to appoint an experienced Digital Artist who'll play a central role in developing Bespoke Digital Art content. This is an exciting opportunity to join a project at an early stage and be a crucial team member in shaping the next generation of our Bespoke features blending physical and digital crafts. Working from within the Design team, you'll be part of a creative situation collaborating with geometry designers, colour and trim specialists and engineering experts. You will create and steer the design of desirable and engaging Digital Art content as part of our existing and new model development plans, all in line with project and brand requirements. You'll be tasked with creating immersive and dynamic Digital Art content that focuses on curated storytelling, and work with multiple different technologies and crafted materials to deliver a truly bespoke offering. To achieve this vision, you'll operate as part of a small and dynamic project team with internal & external partners to support Digital Art project requirements. Primarily focused on the initial design concepting phase, you'll also contribute throughout the development cycle, reviewing and supporting through to final production. The role is based around a Hybrid working model, however the collaborative and innovative nature of the role means on–site work at the Home of Rolls–Royce will often be needed. What you'll do
Take ownership for the creative visual elements of our Digital Art content
Work closely with project stakeholders to inform and react to briefs, setting the tone and style of the Digital Art content giving life to abstract ideas
Deliver high quality design intent for Digital Art content, from initial mood boards & first concepts, to preferred design intent, supporting through to production
Create sketches, story boards, illustrations & animations that visualise Digital Art design intent to internal & external project partners
Create and iterate quickly on prototypes that showcase new designs, testing and responding to findings
Work with physical prototypes to review and refine Digital Art content respecting capabilities of technology platforms
Collaborate with other team members to deliver complex features on time and to high standards, refining visuals and design intent as required
Partner with business, marketing, engineering & purchasing teams to ensure that goals and schedules are compatible with business and project needs
Mentor other team members to support project deliverables
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Digital Design UI Design, Concept Design, or related field
5+ years of experience creating digital art
A diverse portfolio demonstrating outstanding creativity & presentation skills
A love of storytelling through engaging and beautifully crafted Digital Art
