Versatile Content Creator | Videographer | Social Media Manager

Videographer and Social Editor

Focus:Creating Content To Align With Business Objectives

About Brass Monkey

Brass Monkey is a brand leader in the creation, innovation, and manufacture of ice baths and cold plunges for residential and commercial markets, as well as one of the category’s leading voices. Now in our fourth year of trading, we are poised for significant growth.

Our marketing strategy is increasingly taking a strong focus on content-led execution to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and direct response sales. As we expand, we are seeking a Senior Videographer and editor role to support increasing the exposure of the brand in social channels. You’ll work closely with a content strategist and a partnerships and community manager.

Our shared beliefs:

  • Bravery is the mother of invention:The fearless are merely without fear, people who act despite their fear are truly brave. Failure is feedback. Push on, don’t worry about getting it wrong. Live curious. Be inventive and imaginative. The business was built on curiosity and let’s face it, a crazy idea. If you can push on and push out of your comfort zone you could be the spark behind the next one.
  • OK is not OK:Remarkable things only happen if you commit and give your everything. We don’t cut corners, we don’t do things by halves. Just think what 2% more might bring. No pain, no gain as they say. Set a standard. Keep your promises. Bring your A Game every day.
  • Kindness is magic:Nothing good happens until other people feel good. Whether that’s our families, our colleagues, our customers or our community. We will always strive to maintain our generosity of spirit by staying compact enough to care and focused on what and who matters most. Caring for people and doing the right thing in the right way deserves to be celebrated.

Still with us? Awesome, read on.

Job Role & Requirements

This role is essential to maximising our video output and creating high-quality, engaging short-form content that fuels organic and paid growth.

This is a fast-paced, execution-heavy role that requires both filming and editing skills, as well as an understanding of platform-specific content strategies (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Meta). You will be responsible for capturing, editing, and distributing high-performing video content daily, working closely with a content strategist and a community & partnerships manager to ensure maximum reach and engagement.

We expect this to be a role that quickly requires a more junior support, a team of two ultimately.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Video Capture & Content Production

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute video shoots for various content needs, including:

◦ CEO talking-head and behind-the-scenes content
◦ Marketing events, activations, and gym visits
◦ Product demonstrations and customer testimonials
◦ Influencer and community-led content

  • Ensure efficient shoot planning to extract maximum content in minimal time.
  • Maintain high production quality while prioritising speed and volume.

2) Video Editing & Content Repurposing

  • Edit long-form content into highly engaging short-form clips optimised for:
  • Apply platform-specific editing techniques, including:

◦ Hooks and high-retention storytelling formats

  • Leverage AI & automation tools (Descript, Opus Clip, CapCut, Premiere Pro templates) for speed.

3) Content Distribution & Scheduling

  • Upload, optimise, and schedule 7-10 daily short-form videos across:

◦ LinkedIn (where relevant)

  • Implement platform-specific metadata optimisations (captions, hashtags, descriptions).
  • Work with the community & partnerships manager to track post engagement.

4) Time & Resource Management

  • Be self-sufficient in executing a high-output video workflow.
  • Manage video assets, maintaining an organised content library.
  • Collaborate easily with:

Content Strategist (to refine content angles & storytelling)
Community & Partnerships Manager (to sync video releases with influencer campaigns and brand interactions)

  • Able to commute to location, of course attend the shoots via train or car.

Your experience

  • Experienced with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and paid social ad formats.
  • Fast, scrappy, and efficient – able to turn around high-quality clips quickly.
  • Self-starter and organised, with a high-output mindset.
  • Creative and adaptable, always testing new content styles and trends.
  • Experience working with founders, brands, or personal brands is a plus.

KPI’s and how we’ll judge success:

  • Multiple short-form clips produced per day from archived and new footage.
  • Rapid turnaround time

(content captured → edited → published within 24-48 hours).

  • Efficient shoot planning, maximising content yield per session.
  • Strong cross-platform presence

ensuring content aligns with best practices on TikTok, Meta, and LinkedIn.
