The Role

Exciting NEW opportunity to join our Finance Team to support our growth in the US, supporting our mission to bring high quality, affordable fitness to everyone, everywhere!
The role will focus on preparation of US month end management accounts, accruals and prepayments, and reporting on financial performance. Reviewing and reconciling financial and operational data and providing support to business stakeholders.
Having recently acquired 50+ gyms in the US, the group is recruiting a US focused finance team, to provide a robust financial control, reporting and budgeting function for US operations with revenue of c$130 million. The team will be based in the UK Head Office in Leeds alongside the UK and Group functions.

The Person
• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with 2+ years PQE and proven experience delivering monthly accounting.
• Passionate about PureGym and understands how accounting function can best serve wider business needs.
• A high achiever who is looking to be part of an energetic, fast growing business.
• Adaptive to significant changes within the business.
• Someone who is happy to be hands on and work on their own initiative but also be able to work together as a team, motivating and leading a team to meet key deadlines such as the month end accounts.
• Can build strong working relationships and networks to enable success – across and outside of the business.
• Challenges status quo, always seeking ways to improve processes to increase efficiency and add value.
• Strong attention to detail, and proven ability to work to deadlines through effective time management.
• Experienced line manager, including setting objectives, delivering appraisals, and managing performance.
• Excellent excel skills.
• Experience of working with Medius, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and IBM Planning & Analytics would be an advantage, but not essential.
