Pulse AHP’s Phlebotomy Team is currently recruiting for experienced Phlebotomists/Healthcare Support Workers to join the team for a role based in the Cumbria area.
These roles will be working locally in the Cumbria area providing Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 year’s experience in drawing blood and have proof of competency as a phlebotomist.
This is an established programme that is looking for new candidates as it moves into its next phase.
Position: Phlebotomist/Healthcare Support Worker
Location: Cumbria
Hours: 2-3 days per week, shift patterns vary
Duration: Ongoing
Essential skills:
We are looking for experienced phlebotomists who also must have HCA experience to be able to work at least 2-3 days per week in a 7-day service. These will be long days working between 7.45am – 6.15pm, Saturday 8.45am – 5.15pm with Sunday hours being 10.45am – 4.15pm.
This position is available from November. Some of the areas we expect this to include are Carlisle/Penrith/Kendal/Barrow-In-Furness/Whitehaven/Workington. These roles will be available until at least May 2025.
These will be mobile sites which will move around on a regular basis every 4-5 weeks and so it would be very beneficial if you are able to drive and work at different sites.
The pay rate for this role will be up to £20 per hour (umbrella rate) with weekend enhancements.
