Lorien's leading Investment client is looking for a Junior Investment Analyst to join our Policyholder Investment office team in the Asset Management function.

This role is based in London and will be via Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction, and manager change as it relates to Policyholder Funds.
• Assist in stakeholder management, including representation at governance forums, committees, and independent oversight bodies as required.
• Work with and support the Head of Portfolio Management and the wider team in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across With Profits.
• Collaborate with Asset Management colleagues on areas such as Investment Strategy/Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) implementation, performance analysis, and integration of Sustainability and ESG.

Key Requirements

• Broad understanding of investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes, and product types.
• Knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy, and fund management methodologies as they apply to With Profits.
• Understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income, and alternatives (illiquid) and their application.
• Experience in interacting with stakeholders across multiple disciplines, i.e., Actuarial, Finance, Operations, and Risk.
• Some progress in a relevant professional qualification (or willingness to pursue) and/or applicable work experience.
• Experience working within Middle Office environments.
