Our superb client near Cosham is partnering with us to recruit an experienced IT Operations Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about IT ops, data security, and process optimisation, and someone who wants to lead in the successful accreditation of ISO27001.

What you'll be doing:

1. Become the go-to expert for resolving IT issues across hardware, software, and network connectivity
2. Efficiently manage all IT, mobile, and telecom contracts
3. Create user training materials to enhance IT awareness and self-service capability
4. Oversee and maintain the Daktela and Horizon phone systems
5. Install, configure, and manage cloud and network IT infrastructure
6. Support and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment
7. Manage onboarding/offboarding, user accounts, permissions, and data security
8. Identify opportunities for IT process enhancements and automation
9. Work closely with department heads to fulfil business IT requirements

What we're looking for:

1. 5+ years in a faced-paced IT environment.
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
3. Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and policy management.
4. Expertise in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
5. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
6. IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent).
7. CISSP certification (or willingness to work towards one).
8. Experience leading IT projects, upgrades, and migrations.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary will be between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
