Project Manager

Permanent Role (up to £72,500 PA + Benefits)

Hybrid (2-3 days on-site in London)

Our client is building a new, centralised project management function and is looking for a proactive Project Manager to join the team. This role will involve delivering a variety of projects across retail and IT, implementing best practices, and supporting the maturity of project management standards within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a range of projects, primarily in IT and business transformation, ensuring successful implementation.
• Support the standardisation of project management processes, building a structured project lifecycle.
• Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and success criteria.
• Assist in the tendering process for new software systems and oversee implementation.
• Guide and mentor teams, ensuring best practices are followed throughout project delivery.
• Act as the bridge between IT and business functions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably with change and IT/software system implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Prince2 and waterfall methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously rather than a single large project.
• Confident, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Experience in business transformation or change projects is essential.
• Ability to work in a structured but slow-moving environment and drive successful outcomes.
