Job Title: Welding Engineer - Night Shift
Location: Birmingham
Term: 6 Months
Rate:
1st 40 Hours M-F - £35.00 per hour inc hol pay
Over 40 Hours M-F / Sat - £45.00 per hour
Lodge - £60.00 per day worked

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Welding Engineer to lead and manage all welding activities on the construction site for our large-scale viaducts and bridge projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that welding processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality.

Requirements:
EWE / IWE, EWT/IWT or EWS/IWS certificate, according to ISO 14731;
Academically competent CSCS card;
Previous experience in supervising welding procedures in S355 carbon steel;
Aptitude for work at height;
Good communication skills and ability to work in teams.
